Coloradans are sick and tired of high energy bills and polluted air.

We want to do something about it.

We get it. You’re frustrated.

There are a lot of special interests and organizations talking about how to make Colorado more affordable these days. Some of them are championing a limited view of affordability: they want Colorado to be cheaper for the rich while the rest of us foot the bill.

We’re not into that vision of our state’s future.

Every Coloradan seems to be complaining about increasing energy rates (on top of everything else going on right now, which says a lot). And the utilities are trying to tell us that in order to save money, we have to breathe dirty air. We know that’s not true.

Ensuring our Rocky Mountain air stays clean will also save us money. That’s why we're focused on making our power bills more affordable for decades to come (lowering pollution-related healthcare bills = a big bonus too!).

To do that, we’re punching through misinformation and making all of the wonky topics around energy accessible to you.

Simply put: our goal is to make corporations pay their fair share and do their part to make Colorado communities livable – including paying their own energy bills, instead of forcing hardworking families to foot the bill.

If that sounds good to you, we’d love for you to get involved!

It’s common sense: everyone pays for their own way. You use the energy? You pay for it; not me.

Solar, wind, geothermal, and other clean energy sources = cheapest long-term energy bills and we get cleaner air? Let’s invest in the transition now so our families can access the benefits sooner.

Powering an Affordable and Clean Colorado was started by some fed-up Coloradans who want to break through the misinformation and disinformation around energy bills and pollution.

Believe it or not, Coloradans can have a direct impact on our energy bills by getting involved in the conversation – whether at the State Capitol or at the Public Utilities Commission. But there’s a lot of fear-mongering and dissuading that makes it all feel vague and inaccessible.

We’re done playing that game.

We want to make it easier for Coloradans to get the facts and get involved so all of our energy bills can go down and our family budgets can stop getting busted by climbing energy bills.
